About the Beverage: Sarah recommends pairing her novel with an Earl Grey Tea (M&S Earl Grey and M&S Decaffeinated Earl Grey Tea) and explains that “I consumed an awful lot of Earl Grey tea while writing What Happened to Evie Del Rio? And you will often find many of my characters drinking tea throughout the book. I like to think that a nice cup of tea is so often the solution to any problem, and a cup of tea is certainly very helpful to Evie Del Rio about 3/4 through the book!”
About the Author: Sarah always enjoyed the written word, and she has a great passion for music, so she decided to put the two together, and the result is her debut novel, 'What Happened to Evie Del Rio?'
“I like to think I'm enjoying my 'middle youth' rather than my 'middle age',” Sarah says, adding, “I'm married and Mum to two sons and a black rescue cat called Hector, who often features on my Instagram account.”
Sarah enjoys going to gigs and discovering new music. She also loves reading women's fiction, but she does have a bit of a penchant for crime and psychological thrillers! If Sarah is not on social media, reading, writing, listening to music, or at a gig, then you will probably find her on a muddy football pitch cheering on her youngest son and his team.
